1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand?<br>
-----I will use any yarn, but prefer the quality yarns, although I buy from Knit Picks and Elann often.

2. Do you spin? Crochet?<br>
-----I crochet, but not much since carpal tunnel surgery. I used to prefer it. I had a spinning wheel many years ago, but not now.

3. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?<br>
-----I have a hook case I made long ago and love. My needles sit neatly in the handle of my basket.

4. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?<br>
-----I learned to knit as a young girl but have been making things for about a year. I'd say I am an advanced beginner.

5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?<br>
-----I have an Amazon wish list.  I will be making a Knit Picks one soon.

6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)<br>
-----I like citrus scents, lime and orange, and jasmine. I don't use heavy perfumes due to allergies.

7. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?<br>
-----I am trying to avoid sweets. I do enjoy teas and other beverage mixes.

8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?<br>
-----I used to sew a lot. Now I dabble in many areas: basketry, card-making, whatever catches my eye.

9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)<br>
-----I listen to all kinds of music. I have many music gadgets to play any format. My computer is a Mac, but it is newer.

10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?
-----I like most colors. I don't usually use yellow or brown or gray, although there are exceptions.  I like purples, reds, blues...really most.

11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?<br>
-----I live with my husband, our grown children visit. We have  a cat and share a dog with friends.

12. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?<br>
-----I wear scarves and hats and sometimes mittens. I don't wear ponchos.

13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?<br>
-----I don't have lots of experience, but I'm enjoying wool and striping yarn and dishcloth cotton.

14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?<br>
-----I'm not real fond of acrylics.  My mom still has most of the old yarn I gave her from my crochet days.

15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?<br>
-----Dishcloths, Socks, New Things

16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?<br>
-----I plan to keep socks and dishcloths going all the time.

-----A cotton/rayon tank top, dishcloths, a hat, wristwarmers.

-----Oh, yes. :)

19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?<br>
-----I love my Denise circulars and my short straights for dishcloths. Whatever suits the pattern.

20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?<br>
-----I use all of these. I don't use the aluminums too much any more and don't like hard plastic.

21. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?<br>
-----Mom just got me these for Christmas!

22. How did you learn to knit?<br>
-----I learned as a young girl but chose crochet over knit. Now it is more comfortable and interesting to knit.

23. How old is your oldest UFO?<br>
-----I tend to frog old projects. I have half a glove that I don't plan to finish. I have old sewing projects that are 20 years old.

-----I collect frogs.  I like giraffes and roosters....I like animals. : )

-----I like them all.

-----Some are listed on my wish list on Amazon. I probably have more patterns than I can ever make!

-----I am deep into learning new things every day. Each project teaches me something new since I am such a new knitter.

30. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?<br>
-----I wear a size 8 US.  I have made 2 pairs of socks so far. : )
