Summer in February!

It was an unbelievable 70 degrees today! Our usual temperature is around 55. I was downright hot, which is unusual. It felt good, even though I have a nasty cold. I managed to put together a package for one of my secret pals and finish the dishcloth for my exchange.

I was afraid this cloth would never get done. I frogged three times, then cut it short and called that cloth mine. That's a bonus for me! The next try made it to the end, in spite of my getting sick. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. I'll add a scrubbie and a dishtowel and send it off soon.

Pattern: Yvonne's Double Flower Cloth
Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Fantasy Naturale
Needles: US 5 and 6 circulars

I have been stressing out about getting everything done so I can pick up Picovoli for the . That's tomorrow! I must say, I've been tempted to join this team:

Did you know that there are 3300 knitters signed up for The Yarn Harlot's Olympics? Amazing! I am looking forward to watching it all.

I still have a dishcloth kal to finish -- and lots of other kals on my list -- but I am going to go for it. It might be the only way I can get Picovoli done. I'll post my starting point tomorrow evening.

Until then...I'm off to bed so I will feel up to my busy day.
