Sexy Knitter Me?

Okay, I'm confessing to my latest crazy venture. A couple weeks ago I joined the Sexy Knitters' Club. Sexy is in the mind of the person who feels that way, right? So whether it is delusional or not, I am one sexy knitter! The first KAL is Picovoli, by Grumperina. I must admit that I didn't join the group until the vote was in on what to knit for the KAL. At my age, it's a short trip from sexy to downright tacky. Nobody wants to see Grandma's parts flapping in the breeze, if you know what I mean. Picovoli is just right for this granny. I don't usually wear sleeveless, but I need a couple shells to go under sweaters and to accomodate future hot flashes. See? Planning ahead! I've ordered my yarn and can't wait to start. Low energy after the holidays, coupled with a strong desire to hibernate, resulted in a day of blog surfing. I ran across Queer Joe's annual blog awards, which led me to many wonderful blogs. It also landed me right in the middle of JenLa's blog awards. What a hoot! Don't go there if you have things to accomplish! Well, I'm off to knit a bit. I'm sure not getting a lot done lately, but I expect to kick it up a notch any day now. Hope you have time to curl up with a good knit!
