My Sweetie drew a number from Tychus #1 and the winner is Shari! I guess her encouragement to knit another Tychus for Himself sent just the right vibes. Congratulations! Since Shari knits dishcloths and socks, here is what she will receive in the mail as soon as she emails her address to me. Having this little contest helped me wait for this ... This is the yarn for Picovoli. It's Luna in coppered sienna, a rayon and cotton blend from Elann. And here's what I am doing tonight ... This is my first serious gauge swatch and I'm afraid it is not giving me much of a clue. I knit three swatches on different size needles and still am not sure which is right. As usual, I am learning as I go. The cream colored yarn is for Mrs. B's wristwarmers, so I will get going on those soon, too. Check out Whit's Mrs. B's KAL and listen to her new podcast. Unfortunately, I put in another job application today and will probably get the job. That will really cut into my knitting time. BUT...I will have more money for more needles and yarn! :) It's late, so I will leave you with a Christmas picture. This is my big dog, Wiley, sitting on my dad's lap.
