Dishcloth Distraction
Uh, socks? What socks? I have been enjoying these last two gift dishcloths. :) ![]() I really like the crocheted heart scrubby, but it is way too much work for a dish scrubber. The angel is for a friend who collects angels and is in particular need of one right now. And now for your holiday pleasure (and mine) here are two of my seasonal frogs. The first one is a musical buddy who croaks out Jingle Bells in a lovely baritone. The second one...uh, Thanks, Mom! This little Santa Croaker hangs next to my knitting chair.
Okay, enough fooling around...it's time for work -- then socks, and maybe a little shopping. I'm finally getting in the mood. ![]() |

Hey Beck - I have a frog that croaks Jingle Bells! I love him (so do my children)!
I'd love the crochet heart pattern if it's a freebie!
All of them are fab!!!!
Hey, lass, your cloths and scrubbie are very nice. I really like the scrubbie, but have a strange aversion to re-learning how to crochet. I'm actually not sure why, but I guess that's just the way it is, ha ha. Your frogs are adorable. I'm finally starting to feel Christmas myself, I even painted my nails a nice cherry red last night, you know cuz red = Christmas or something :p. Take care.
How nice discloths! I just wonder...that angel thing reminds me of one certain technique...but I do not know how to describe it. I think it is something like...you knit it but you do not see the picture. And when you look from the right angle, you can see the picture. It is there, even you can not see it right away. Am I right or wrong? I am sorry if I am wrong. And your purple heart discloth is beautiful. Keep knitting.
