Dogs and Socks

My link has been added to the Purling Puppies webring. So... Here's another member of my family, Wiley. He's named after that sneaky coyote of cartoon fame, for good reason. He is half black lab and half liver-spotted dalmation. His spots are brown, not black. He weighs in at a whopping 95 pounds. He was adopted from the local animal shelter and has since found a home with younger roommates and a bigger yard. I still have visitation privileges, so it is a happy arrangement for all. He's a big ol' sweetie. I joined Lolly's Socktoberfest . Guess I better get knitting on those socks! My first pair. I am excited, but a bit apprehensive. I thought joining the Socktoberfest might help. Well, off to do some knitting. I want to see some progress this week.

Wiley is adorable!! He is a big boy... much bigger than my lab mixes (at least he looks it in the pic).

So glad you joined the Socktoberfest group--you will be addicted after the first pair, I promise! It happened to me :)

I LOVE him! He looks like he has such personality....makes me want to give him a big hug! What a neat combination. I don't think I've seen a liver-spotted dalmation before. He's so big he looks like he could have Dane in him.

Oh...that dog is huge if you ask from me. But he does not look nasty. He must be one gentle soul even he is so big.
