I finally cast on the Mitred Stripes Tote. I've had the pattern for over a month and have just been waiting for yarn and time. You can never have enough yarn or time! Here's my progress so far...
I am not really happy with the teal yarn. It seems so dull. I hope it blends in well and I like it when it is done. It's working up faster than I expected.
I added to the sock yarn stash and am just waiting for some needles I ordered. 
I am going to start Dad's Socks as soon as the needles arrive.
I'll leave you with this little gem to ponder. It makes me feel better about the teal yarn I'm not so wild about. At least it isn't this bad...
