Approaching Fuzziness

How many knitalongs can one person do in a season? We are on the way to finding out. Fuzzy Feet are happening over at Gromit Knits' 'cuz Crazy Aunt Purl decided she needed to end the energy crisis.
So Fuzzy Feet are happening here at the MoonLight Frog Pond.

I am using some leftover black Cascade 220 for a little edge on the cuff and the rest will be Highland Wool from Elann.
Working these on one circular was proving to be impossible, so I started right off on two circulars. It's working great, mostly. One circ is from the lovely Denise Interchangeables. Mmmmm... The other is a cheap-o kind that curls up on itself. Yuck! It is all I can do to keep myself from running up to the LYS to buy another set of Denises...'cuz we all know that's what I really NEED!
These will be a birthday present for a dear old friend. I'm thinking this will be a good practice round before starting Dad's Socks, which will be the next sockie adventure.
On another very happy note...Remember the ugly, really disappointing, colors for the Mitred Bag I had so looked forward to making? Here's a reminder....Ewwww!

I am thrilled with the new colors...and also thrilled that I am following the pattern this time around!
.
So happy knitting is going on strong. I still pick up the nasty spiral scarf for a row at a time. I'll finish it up soon so I don't have to look at it much longer. Then all my projects in progress will be happy ones!

Have a happy knitty weekend!

I must say I like the colors much better!! Very pretty! I hear you on the scarf! I am sick of looking at my Harry Potter scarf! Hopefully it will be done this weekend! Happy Knitting!

I know I'm probably pretty late on this, but you can use your Denises (or any interchangeable set) without having to buy another set (sorry). Say you're using Size 10 for the fuzzy feet. Put one size 10 tip on the end of one cable and a 9 on the other end. Do the same thing for the other cable. Only the right needle tip size matters. So your left needle will be a size 9 and the right one will be a size 10 on both cables.

I hope this makes sense and isn't too late to help you out.

Nice colors! Must say that the latter are more vivid. But the earlier ones are not bad either. They remind me of my current project.
